What's Hoppin' will be a way for local Businesses to introduce their company and products to

Eastern students. What’s Hoppin’ was started by two Eastern graduates who settled in town and have observed an opportunity for area businesses to increase the business they do with Eastern students.

From personal experience and observation, as well as surveying of the student population, we have concluded that a large number of Eastern students are unaware of many area businesses, as well as opportunities for recreation. As a result, many Eastern students either travel to their home towns to

purchase goods, or do without. We also believe that Eastern’s reputation as a ‘suitcase campus,’ or a campus where a large number of Eastern students go home on weekend, is fueled in part because of unfamiliarity of the area.

What's Hoppin' management included Ken Bjork, Kevin Marshall and Andres Hidalgo. While Ken, a

Business major, has five years of experience managing and operating a Business, Kevin, has

extensive Marketing abilities and Andres has experience writing and designing literature.
